Who We Are

Team

We are small team who are passionate people dedicated to resolving to charity vision of making the world better place – supported by a diverse and committed board of trustees.


Bishara Mohamu

Bishara serves as Operations Manager at the Anti‐Tribalism Movement where she oversees the delivery of all projects falling under our five strands of working: Advocacy, Producing Leaders, Fostering Tolerance, Encouraging Dialogue and Research. Bishara has over 15 years of experience working in nonprofit management for a number of small charities and community groups operating in London and East‐Africa.

Bishara’s expertise are: Operational management, corporate relations, quality assurance and business development.


Abdirachid Fido

Abdirachid serves as a Programme Manager at the Anti‐Tribalism Movement responsible for advocacy programmes. Abdirachid has been us since the formati on of the Anti‐Tribalism Movement and has been the brainchild behind a number of our online and offline campaigns including Don’t Judge Don’t Label and Jawaab.

Abdirachid’s expertise are: Project management, Monitoring and Evaluation, advocacy and influencing, website management and communications.


Yasmin Moalin

Yasmin serves as Project Officer on the Lead and Be Led programme which falls under the Producing Leaders strand of working. Yasmin is responsible for the delivery of our leadership programme which supports 30 young people directly each year and additional peers. Further to this, Yasmin oversees our monthly debate programme the Open‐Minded Debate which brings the community together to discuss taboo topics in a debate setting.

Yasmin’s expertise are: Project delivery, youth‐services, campaigning, diversity training, media communications, women and girls.


Faiza Ali

Faiza Ali works on Leadership programmes at the Anti‐Tribalism Movement including Lead and Be Led and the ATM Fellowship.

Faiza’s’s expertise are: Nonprofit communications, project management and leadership programmes.

Trustees

We are supported by an active Board of Trustees, comprised of professionals with considerable experience in peacebuilding, human rights, development, charity management and research.
