Community Housing Champions Programme: Recruiting Now!

Following ATM’s successful Community Housing Champions project, we are recruiting a new cohort of Community Housing Champions.

  • In the Community Housing Champions project, we provide training, capacity building and advocacy to empower local residents to engage with housing regeneration and planning policy and processes. We work with marginalised members of the community who usually would not be a part of these processes.
  • The programme is three years long, each year we will work with 20 local residents who receive training and are then able to share their knowledge with additional members of the community. As a result, information will travel from 60 housing champions to over 200 residents in total.
  • The residents on the programme are also placed on regeneration and planning advisory boards, the outcome of that is that their voices are incorporated into London’s regeneration policy, practice and decision-making.

We are seeking to onboard new Community Housing ChampionsWe are looking for BAME residents across London, particularly BAME women as they are usually the least represented in these spaces.
