ATM Young Leader’s Awards 2019 - Anti Tribalism Movement : The ATM

On Thursday 11th July we brought together beneficiaries who successfully completed our flagship leadership programme — ‘Lead and Be Led’. The programme is designed for young people aged 16-24 living in London to develop their confidence, decision-making and critical-thinking skills. In partnership with SOAS University and Sukoon Training Consultancy, over 60 young people have completed the programme and accessed additional employment or development opportunities through ‘Lead and Be Led’.

Our young leaders organised the awards night and even hosted it too with Hamda Abdi and Abdirahman Ulusow as MC’s. Awards for each of the cohorts were presented by: Abdulkadir Elmi, UK Youth G7 Delegate; Priya Pallan, Community Engagement Manager at Imperial College; Gareth Dixon, CEO of the Young Hammersmith and Fulham Foundation and Munira Williams, Trustee at the Anti-Tribalism Movement.
