Open-Minded Debate in Mogadishu
Young Somali have not been able to have their voices adequately heard in the process, nor to acquire the necessary information and skills to be able to contribute meaningfully involvement, decision making, conflict resolution and overall community contribution. Anti-Tribalism Movement is proposing to help them develop as leaders and learn to articulate their concerns in a meaningful and powerful way.
Open-Minded Debate is a unique debate session led by young people for young people dedicated to improving social mobility using cost-effective peer-to-peer debate innovation.
The proposed Open-Minded Debate project will be hosted over a period of 5 months and each month it is dedicated to a particular subject or topic to discuss. Each topic needs to relate and contribute to the development young Somalis and their participation of all sectors of society.
